I hate to do it, but lets be honest Ive never had the love for the Mavericks, that I did for my childhood teams, The Houston Rockets and L. A. Lakers. As I got a little older, I had much more of a appreciation for the Boston Celtics than I did as a child simply because I was a Western Conference kind of guy. But that being said, I can point to a handful of key things that will lead Dallas to not winning the ring this time.
1. Miami is younger. When they get to running, they get to 7 games, or they go in to OT, those young legs will make a difference.
2. 3 of the 4 best players amongst both teams, are on Miami. You know who they are, if you don’t you need to read my site more, because your sports head is in the sand, and I can be your Yoda.
3.. Las Vegas, likes Miami. Lets be honest, Vegas knows what they are doing, they have a whole city built on bad bets of people that thought they knew more.
4. The Pat Riley factor, when one of the great coaches of all time is your GM, and he put the team together, you got problems.
